The youth are not merely leaders of tomorrow; they are important stakeholders and leaders of today.
Our energy, creativity, and numerical strength should be channelled towards promoting good governance, peace, development, and accountability not violence, intimidation, or political thuggery.
Politics should be a platform for ideas, service, and constructive engagement.
Young people must reject the temptation to allow themselves to be used as instruments of violence or destruction by political actors.
We must also demand leadership through dialogue, policies, competence, and integrity.
As youths, let us use our voices and digital platforms responsibly, promote issue-based politics, encourage peaceful participation, and hold leaders accountable.
Our future depends on the choices we make today.
Youth should be agents of positive change, not instruments of political violence. Together, we can build a peaceful, progressive, and prosperous Nigeria.
