FARMER BAGO’S SECOND-TERM BID: A PROJECT FOR ALL NIGERLITES

The second-term bid of His Excellency, *Farmer Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago,* is not just a political contest; it is a project for all Nigerlites who desire peace, sustainable development, progress, and prosperity in Niger State.

This is why many community leaders, youth groups, women’s organisations, and political stakeholders continue to see the Governor’s second-term ambition as a collective project. It is not about a political party alone; it is about sustaining the development trajectory of the *New Niger Agenda,* consolidating the achievements recorded so far, and completing projects and programmes that directly impact the lives of the people.

Every Nigerlite, both at home and in the diaspora, has a stake in the continued progress of the state. The call, therefore, is for unity, peaceful coexistence, inclusion, and responsible political participation. Niger State’s diversity remains one of its greatest strengths, and all political actors should promote issue-based campaigns, avoid divisive rhetoric, and contribute to a peaceful democratic process.

As the 2027 General Elections draw closer, the message is clear: Farmer Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago’s second-term bid represents an opportunity to consolidate the gains of the New Niger Agenda, complete ongoing projects, and deepen development across all three senatorial districts.

The work has started. Let us support continuity, progress, and development. Together, we can finish what we have started.
